Germans coming to South Africa

For April 2018, 21 803 tourists arrived in South Africa from Germany. In total 1 298 709 tourists arrived in South Africa during April 2018, of which the majority those came from other African countries. Overseas arrivals in South Africa amounted to 228 097 tourists. Of overseas arrivals in South Africa during April 2018, Germany made up 9.55% of overseas arrivals in South Africa during April 2018.
The number of German tourists for April 2018 does look relatively low. But why would Germans leave their own country when its summer there and winter in the Southern Hemisphere?
