About Custom Gaming Solutions
In order to take their latest technology to ICE, EGT worked closely with their African distributor, Custom Gaming Solutions (CGS). Founded 16 years ago, CGS controls the distribution, maintenance, and spare parts supply of its international partner as well as a number of other brands. Indeed, it is Custom Gaming Solutions that recently enabled several installations on the part of EGT within Africa, at locations including Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia, while also introducing the company’s R8 automated roulette to several local gaming providers. Having worked with EGT for over ten years, Custom Gaming has helped the company to not only introduce its portfolio to the African market, but build a strong and successful presence on the continent.
EGT and CGS at ICE
Thanks to a partnership that has spanned over a decade, EGT’s products can now be played at casinos across Africa. With the company’s presence on the continent going from strength to strength, their decision to showcase their portfolio at ICE was a natural next step for the two gaming tech giants. Displaying a complete selection of their wares over the course of the convention, EGT, CGS, and the former’s subsidiaries, EGT Multiplayer and EGT Interactive, managed to showcase an array of equipment so diverse that it covered most conceivable B2B needs.
The cabinets on display included those that had already debuted at ICE in London, with the breadth and complexity of the technology on show demonstrating the company’s commitment to investing ever more heavily in the continuing success of their African venture. As Steve Diversi, co-founder and managing director at CGS, explained: “Our partnership with Euro Games Technology goes back over 10 years." He went on to discuss the strong relationship the company had built within the African gaming market and the pride they take in their "long-term cooperation with EGT." With these two commercial powerhouses seemingly committed to the continuation of their relationship and their ongoing attempts to diversify the African gaming market, which have already resulted in a 30 percent increase in machines in the country, the remainder of 2019 could mark some big changes for this already rapidly evolving sector.
