Average taxable income per municipality in Gauteng and Western Cape

The summary below shows the average taxable income of twenty municipalities in Gauteng and the Western Cape. The twenty municipalities shows the Top 20 municipalities in these two provinces are ranked based on their average taxable income:
From the above it is clear that municipalities in Gauteng tend to have higher average taxable incomes than those of the Western Cape, with 6 out of the top 10 municipalities in terms of taxable income is located in Gauteng, with the City of Johannesburg that includes affluent areas such as Rosebank, Sandton having the highest taxable income out of any of the municipalities in Gauteng and Western Cape.
Small town Stellenbosch (where firms such as PSG group) are located comes in a close second in terms of municipalities in Gauteng and the Western Cape's taxable income. City of Tshwane (Pretoria) comes in at 3rd spot while the City of Cape Town is in 4th place.
Only the top municipality in the Western Cape and Gauteng has an average taxable income above R400 000.
