With oil prices tanking and seeing negative prices for the first time in history we have decided to cover South Africa's crude oil imports from South Africas biggest crude oil suppliers, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria since the start of 2019.

Prices paid for crude oil imports from Saudi Arabia and Nigeria
The summary below shows the month, number of kilograms of crude oil imported, the value of the crude oil imports, the price per kilogram, the estimated Rand price per barrel of crude oil as well as the estimated number of barrels of crude oil imported into South Africa from Nigeria every month.

So lets take a look at the numbers for Saudi Arabia. While Saudi Arabia has been one of, if not the biggest supplier of crude oil to South Africa, in recent months it seems that South Africa is getting a lot more of its crude oil from Nigeria than from Saudi Arabia
